There is a limit to everything , and the tolerance ability of each individual is different, no one can predict or direct.

GOVERNMENT of Maharashtra has spent crores of honest tax payers ruppees to protect 1 terrorrist to give him a civilised society trial which they do not deserve in the first place.

SHAME SHAME SHAME- this simply boils us making you feel how stupid you are tolerating this nonsense terror.

Jyaada door jaane ki jaroorat nahi.
we got symphathizers of these terrorists piglest in our own community.
online discussion forums like CD is not exception.
if someone raise any voice against these extremist piglets, that person considered some cow worshiper/racist and what not,
Is this not a joke:confused:
these pseudo secular morons are not less responsible for such attacks happening all over the world.
we must speak against extremists and their pseudo secular supporters, their plans/practices in our society, incl demands of extremism promoting brutal halal practice or space for special prayers at public places .
If we will not talk about this disease, then how we can expect to cure it??, .
we need a peacefull civilized society for the future of our kids/grand kids not extremistone.

20 killed, 100 injured, as terror strikes Mumbai again

http://www.thehindu.com/multimedia/dynamic/00692/Mumbaiblast_692953a_692953f.jpg" border="0" alt="http://www.thehindu.com/multimedia/dynamic/00692/Mumbaiblast_692953a_692953f.jpg" />

Three bomb blasts go off within 11 minutes at Zaveri Bazar, Kabutarkhana, and Opera House

Three blasts between 6.54 p.m. and 7.05 p.m. rocked the crowded areas of Mumbai on Wednesday, killing 20 persons and injuring over a hundred, according to official sources. The most powerful one, suspected to have been set off by an IED (improvised explosive device) was at Zaveri Bazaar in south Mumbai, a congested part of the city, the second at Kabutarkhana near Dadar suburban railway station in central Mumbai and the third at Opera House also in South Mumbai.

Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan confirmed that it was a terror strike and appealed to Mumbaikars to keep calm. Mr. Chavan said the first blast was at 6.54 p.m. at Zaveri Bazaar, followed by Dadar at 6.55 p.m. and Opera House at 7.05 p.m.

Mr. Chavan said the police would get to the bottom of this. He had spoken to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram and both had assured the State of all help.

The blast near the bus stop at Kabutarkhana went off between 6.45 p.m. and 6.55 p.m., according to eyewitness accounts, shattering a car that was passing by and injuring the driver. A damaged bus stop and broken glass of the nearby shops bore testimony to the intensity of the bomb which was placed near the Hanuman Mandir, according to Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Umeshkumar Sarangi.

Mr. Sarangi said the bomb at Zaveri Bazaar was placed in an umbrella while the one at Opera House was in a manhole. While the Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik confirmed that it was an IED that was used at Zaveri Bazaar, investigations are still on to confirm the kind of explosive used at the other two places.

At Dadar, eyewitnesses said the explosion was so loud many thought a building had collapsed. Rajendra Rathod who has a shop just opposite to where the bomb went off told The Hindu that the intensity of the blast caused him to fall on the ground. He said the man driving a car was affected by the explosion and was injured. A motorcyclist driving by was also affected. Police cordoned off the entire area which was crammed with onlookers and the media.

There was a scuffle between workers of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) who insisted the police were late in taking away the injured persons. People saw at least four persons injured and one dead.

Amruta Parab said at this time of the day there were lots of school children and parents around since there was a school nearby but luckily no one was injured. Vaibhav Bandiwdekar who lives on the seventh floor of a nearby building ran down after he heard the deafening explosion.

Kabutarkhana is one of the most crowded areas outside Dadar suburban station in central Mumbai and usually there are 150 to 200 people around. Rahul Gokhale heard the sound a little away at Portuguese Church where he lives and came to the blast site, where he witnessed chaos and confusion.

Mr. Patnaik said that it was a difficult situation and Mumbai had witnessed blasts again and again, he promised that the guilty would be brought to book.

This is the third bomb blast at Zaveri Bazaar, the heart of the diamond trading area of the city, the earlier two were in 1993 and in 2003. The bomb exploded in an area popularly called Khau Galli where people gather to have a snack in the evenings. The area was full of shattered glass and crowds surging to get a look at the site of the explosion.

Jayesh Labdhi, a diamond merchant, was coming out of his office when he heard the loud explosion which he thought was some firing. Then he heard people running around and saying it was a blast. He said that he took some 14 to 20 people to hospital after the blast and he saw almost 30 lying around with injuries.

Some eyewitnesses said that they heard two blasts one after the other. Pravinbhai Tanna said the bomb exploded outside a shop called Super Tools owned by Syed Radhanpurwalla. The owner and some others inside the shop were seriously injured.

Mustafa Patakdawalla saw a huge plume of smoke rising into the sky but he had no time to watch as he was busy helping the injured. Dheeraj Degliya was injured in the leg and hurt by metal particles, and after the explosion there was complete darkness in the area due to the smoke. He said that the rains were a blessing because lesser people were out on the road.

In Opera House the bomb exploded outside J K building in the Panchvati diamond chowk area. Pankaj Jain, a diamond trader, was in his ground floor office nearby when he heard the explosion which brought in a sleet of shattered glass inside. He sustained head injuries and fled from the scene to be admitted to Saifee Hospital. There were scenes of chaos at both Saifee and Harkisondas hospitals with relatives and the media thronging the place for information.

Jayant Sanghvi lost his hearing after the explosion. Speaking to The Hindu at Saifee hospital, he said he had suffered head injuries too. The blast was heard a km away and even two streets down the road. On a usual day the area has over 3,000 to 4,000 people.

At GT Hospital, Sadashiv Bhane's son works in Kalbadevi as a clerk and he has been injured. Bhane was badly shaken and it was a shock to him. Barun Samanta, a gold worker is mourning the loss of his colleague Kamal Dalai who they cannot find. They have been told that he is at JJ but they are still searching for him. GT hospital was crammed with relatives looking for their families. A hospital worker said nearly 30 injured persons were brought from Zaveri Bazaar to the hospital and most of the serious cases were transferred to JJ and KEM

It is very common thing with UPA- they should act like Gujrat
Gujrat is bordering Pakistan but nothing happens there. Modi says All of India is afraid of Paki Terrorism, but Pak Terrorists are afraid of me

It is not that we dont have mechanism but I guess we dont have proper intention to plug these issues.
Mumbai generates 30% of total Indian revenue and yet it is the target we know it is the target and we always dont do nothing...
We have become recalcitrant to issues.
Dowry Killings, atrocities on women ( we are 2nd in the world for worst/unsafe places for women 1. Somalia 2. India 3. Democratic Republic of Congo 4.Afghanistan and 5. Pakistan)
2nd in HIV ( Tirupathi is the future world capital)
We have a failing bureaucratic system (87th ) among 178 countries ( Remember A.Raja, Marans and Kanimouzi they fall short to many Politicians not caught)

In all these we have deteriorating Unprotected Border Problems with Bangladesh
Occupation by : China and Pakistan
Terrorism: Within (SIMI) and Outside Pakistan
I can go on but the fact is any amount of analysis will not save us. Because as long as we dont put the responsibility on our selves then CHANGE will never take place

PS: I am sorry for the victims and sorry for our Motherland the above rant was an emotional outburst not a display of my research capabilities.

Because of some bad apples , the whole community comes under a blame ...

There s no question that majority of Indian Terrorist attacks have been carried out by Muslim terrorists who wish to de stabilize India as they cannot stand a rising majorly Hindu power . A few examples are Akshardham , Parliament attack , 1993 , 26 / 11 and so on .

That being said there are lot of Muslims in Mumbai who would not want a terrorist attack on the city ... Aam aadmi is more worried about his daily needs ...

I echo MKannuri s sentiments ... There has to be a limit to everything - it is not Maharashtra alone which mourns but whole India mourns since Mumbai is the Queen of India ............... How can we prevent it from being bled .............. is the question ??

Bomb Blasts are a very subtle happening going off w/o any one noticing who planted and where .... Tough thing to find a hidden enemy but one thing is certain ......... aam aadmi will have to understand and rise to the occasion if they have concern and wish to prevent this in the future ..... The Police & Admin alone cannot do everything .... The onus will have to be shared by all ... and everyone needs to be cognizant of happenings around ....

Hmm Ususally your posts are most sensible and worth reading. However, it seems that you have borrowed this heavily from MMS.

Aam admi that you worry abot is not at all bothered by the terrorism. It is typical of Indian mentality that unless a family member or a close relative is affected, they are not bothered. Believe me, I called a friend in Ahmedabad after learning the news. He was enjoying his dinner with his family late in night after the blasts. He told that most hotels were full of people enjoying their dinner.

Contrast this with 9/11 when the entire nation was in mourning and trying to help the affected. In Bombay, things would be normal tomorrow.

It si the same aam Admi who elected Kangress a week after 26/11 killings.

Kangress would probably try to blame so called Hindu militants (against whom they have not produced the proof till date).

Rahul Gandhi famously told the USA diplomat that India has more to fear from Hindu militants than Muslim terrorists.

CBI is more interested in taping telephone of private persons like Tata rather than preventing terror.

I think Indians are used to such terror, which is good as well as bad. Bad because Kangress pandering muslims has embolden the terrorists and innocent persons lose their life. Good because terrorist may kill a few innocent people but they cannot force the Govt. to give them concessions. Insensitivity works both the ways.

Like you, there would be many more politicians would come out with the statement that most muslims are peace loving etc.- the usual BS and garbage. The fact remains that no Mulla has ever condemned terrorism or no terrorist has yet been handed over by the muslims to police. Is it difficult to identify the hate mongers preaching in mosque? Till now, I have never heard of a hate monger being handed over to police. It would be interesting to know that majority of peaceful muslims want to live under Sharia law as per the recent survey conducted in U.K. I have not come across such survey in India, probably because for civil matters , Sharia is already applied there. However, this Sharia loving muslims would not go to live in Pakistan. They had that option in 1947 but they chose to remain in India.

The recurring terrorist acts are result of dying Hindu society, which is bent on committing Harakiri. History says that the great civilizations do not die they commit suicide. Hindu are well on their way to it. Civilization, which has lost its vigour and is ashamed of asserting its values, is destined to vanish.

I guess very few people know that very soon a law would be introduced in Parliament which PRESUMES that in any riot, majority, i.e. Hindu would be responsible and provides for collective punishment. There is no sense of outrage or even a squeak from Hindu. What can one expect from them?

One last thing. The terrorist attack was targeted at Hindu and bombs were planted with the intention of maimimg Hindu. They did not plant it in Bhendi bazaar. Kangress would announce a very paltry sum for the victims as most are Hindu. Kangress has always discriminated amongst the Hindu and non Hindu victims. Watch the news to confirm the same.

In the end, I express my condolence to the family members of victim and pray to the God that their soul may rest in peace.

Don't know what you know about history of hinduism ....... but it certainly does not get intimidated by such acts. For more than a thousand years hindus were living under non hindu rule ..... even then they did not die. So you relax and be assured that hinduism have "real" followers who even under adverse conditions have held on to their faith and that too in large numbers. Even today hinduism in a majority relgion in the whole of Indian subcontinent!!!!!

Though i must add there are some weaklings who get intimidated and start crying .... thankfully their numbers are but a few !!!!!!
