Yes they are some what expensive here unless you get to shop across the border or buy when there is a deal in place of buy when you need.

My experience, the clothes I bring from India don't seem to last longer here, the machine eats it out most often.

Not Really.
If you buy when there is a sale then you can get at better price and better quality sometimes.

I bought some Reymonds pairs from India, So called good quality material but not too happy with it.

Jeans and T-Shirts are infact cheaper here..

Yes ther are expensive as compared to India, Mid East and USA. Quality of Indian clothing is very poor. You can get stuff from USA almost half of the SALE price in Canada.. such as Levi's Denim in USA $20 a pair and only 6-7% tax. Good quality Tee and polos you can get around $ 7 onward in USA, Khakis around $20.00.. and list goes on :)

Hahahhaa... I forgot to mention that the shirts / trousers were ridiculously expensive in Metro Malls. $40 for a dress shirt and $60 for a pant which would die at the belly of the machines here.

Bang.. Bang... One thousand posts here today..

I would say: depending on where you buy your clothes from, I believe India's Metro cities Malls (in some cases) are more expensive clothes, compared to to Canada..
But the wholesale stores still carry discount price..

I would suggest do not buy too much MEN'S CLOTHES from India, buy only enough for a year, Reason: These days, brand name stores are ripping off customers in India. Clothes are too expensive and quality is very poor.

1. Casual or work clothes are cheper and more comfortable here in Canada.
2. Indian Ready made clothes get srink so quickly after a few machine wash.
3. Here, most people wear seasonal clothes, you may prefer going with trend.
Don't bring any thing un stiched, tailor service is too high, you will regreat, if you have to visit tailor for any service.

What you can bring from India is/are:
1.Tailor made suits with proper or little bigger size. (Don't worry about ties, you will find better here at good price.)
2. Cotton under garments.
3. Traditional clothes which are expensive here.

Clothes are cheaper and better quality in canada and are made for the washing machines here.. This includes undergarments and socks.

The only reason to buy clothes from india is u can get shirts and trousers custom made

If i buy clothes from india , i dont put them in the dryer, this is a huge hassel because of hang drying clothes in winters here.
