I am trying to buy 4000 USD. Can somone suggest a place where I can get a better rate?

Some banks give better rate if you have US$ account with them.Move your CAD$ into US$ account.

Sometime converting ING CAD$ account into ING US$ account gives better rate than other banks. You can connect your ING US$ account with local bank US$ for cashing.

I usually buy mine at Walmart.

They give the best rate for these in Canada.

Some of the brands I buy are Majesta, Cashmere, Cottonelle and Royal.

I like ones with are punched with quilts.

You could also go for cheaper brands like No Name or Great Value.

I'm sorry I thought you were talking about Bathroom tissues.

Based on what Berne Bernaike said in his recent press conference it is as good as the US Dollar.
