Very compelling video indeed! Given our past experiences, it is difficult not be cynical and view this effort with some degree of suspicion. But sometimes, you need to have faith when the cause is so just and believe in a leader who is pushing it. One of our drawbacks as people of Indian origin (probably applies to all humans) is we don't initiate anything ourselves, but get in the way of people who do.
I knew nothing about Anna Hazare last week, this video provides a good introduction. There's probably more to his story, but at this time, I think he needs support as opposed to cynicism. I hope his effort gains more momentum as it is sorely required to move India truly forward.
I can't be in India, however if I can contribute financially to support his cause, I would be happy to do so. I would also encourage other CDs who feel they have a stake in India's development in some form or another to do so.

India needs more and more supporters for Anna Hazareji to eradicate corruption, black money dealings and so many other evil things generated by the people in power after independence.
After realizing what this man did in the past for RTI act, Ralegan Siddhi, removal of alcoholism and other social cause for the betterment of the society I salute him.
Corruption is the infection eating whole India. Powerful than Cancer. It spreads..spreads fast and spreads efficient, spreads everyone.
News about corruption is common in India. People don't bother much because we hear it everyday and nothing new. During Lalu's era, I used to read 100 cr, 300 cr etc as scam numbers. And then started hearing 1000 cr, 3000 cr in stock market scams. Those numbers sound quite high to me.. but i console myself that money in stock market is not real money.. some inflated numbers.. But now.. its 10,000 cr, 30,000 cr etc.. in 2G and CWG scams. Astonishing numbers. Reports say Indian's blackmoney stashed in Swiss may be in Trillions. I can't imagine and realize how big a trillion was. may be that Trillion is a combined effort of all our corrupt Indians for 50 years.. Trillion is an effective team work for 50 yrs.. But what about these 2G , CWG's and latest Ali's? India's GDS (Gross Domestic Scam) rate is at all time high. may be at 1000% growth rate per year. For better understanding, we should switch from Rs to $ and US denomination. The next scam numbers will be 100 lakh crores, 300 lakh crores. Forget about scam, we can't even understand those numbers. Better we should start talking scams in dollars and billions.
2G is not just a scam. Its a direct threat to Nation. Licenses were given to providers with Paki and Chinki links. I felt deceived, angry, Pain.. but who cares. My feeling or opinion has no impact on the issue. I just felt but never sincerely did any constructive work against corruption.
I support Anna's movement. I would like to contribute his (Ours, Nations) movement. I will join that facebook page. Any other ideas like Online campaign, Donations etc are most welcome.

Every time you type some advice for others, it reflects to be tought yourself before others. You need to grow up and start learning.
Anna Hazae announced about going on fast months ago, when he gave deadline to the government to act on the lokpal bill. I knew about couple of months ago that Anna is going on fast from April some date if he is not heard by the govt. The video has been on youtube since last few months, its just that it wasn't as famous as it is now.
If you watch at least the videos listed on this thread, you will know everything about it the lokpal bill. Do you care to learn something on your own ? It does not matter we call it lokpal or jan lokpal, every one (except yourself) understands what we are talking about.
If you know how the corrupt system works in India, Media would be the least interested body on Anna Hazare's news. Everyone one this forum except you is supporting this movement. So do you think the hole world needs to grow up and you are the only wise person in here?
You are free to put your thoughts on this forum, but at the same time we are also free to educate illiterate graduates (like you in other words).

Finally, Anna Hazare wins, all of his conditions accepted. Will call off fast tomorrow.
