An automation equipment manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer.
This is not an IT position and not an automotive industry position.
Location - upstate New York (around Syracuse).
Candidates must relocate and company will offer relocation package.
Candidates must have strong background in electrical, electonics and electro-mechanical concepts and components. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience is required. Related engineering degree is required. SSBB and CQE certification desired, but not required.
Candidates must have strong knowledge/experience of quality and manufacturing related applications. Examples include 8D, CAR, FMEAs, CPs, APQP, PPAP, ECNs, VSM, TOC, TPM, GD&T, etc.
Candidates must have strong communication skills (use of diplomacy and tact) since heavy supplier interaction will be part of the role. A strong project management skill is an asset as every quality issue with the supplier may have to handled as a cradle to grave project.
Company will not do H1 or Green Cards but they are happy to support TN applications.

I only have brief information about these 2 positions since the recruiter I was working with regarding Lean Manager positions asked me to throw out a feeler for good candidates.
The position of Mfg Mgr is either in Alabama or Mississippi. The company is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional that can run a production plant (manage people, P&L and deploy the annual strategic plan and profit plan).
The CI Mgr position is Alabama or Mississippi as well. The candidate must have the business acumen to be able to run the plant within a year as a Plant Mgr.
Both positions require relevant engineering degrees. Relocation is available. Employer will support TN (not sure about H1 or GC).
