I worked for a private company in Qatar from Jan 1986 to Jan 5, 1992. I require a good conduct certificate to apply for immigration to Canada. Do I get one since it was 25 years ago? I lost my old passport and do not have a copy either. I know my company name and address and visa renewal fees paid receipt in 1991. I do not have an experience certificate as it was not issued.

Per Qatar official site, I have to send them PCC from the country where I am requesting. i.e. India along with Fingerprints duly attested with a fees of $10. I am working on my PCC in India.

My question is after sending the original PCC from India to Qatar for the purpose of obtaining a Good Conduct Certificate, do they return my original PCC from India along with requested GCC? Please advise. Thank you a ton in advance.

If you are not a citizen of Qatar.. : If you live outside of Qatar: (but have lived in Qatar for more than 6 months) You can:

Return to Qatar and apply in person OR ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in Qatar, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) and follow the instructions above.Visit your nearest Qatari Embassy or consulate by express mail

You or your representative must bring/send:

A letter explaining the purpose for which the certificate is required
Original fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatari Embassy in the country where you are currently residing.
A copy of the passport that you used in Qatar
A copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar and ID card
A copy of your current passport
Three photographs (4x6 cm)
Applicable fees
