You seem to be very much interested on any (good or bad) news about Pakistan.
Or you are trying to increase traffic on pakistanherald.com
No offence, but you should start a thread on "Pakistani news" and keep posting on the same thread everytime you want to post something about Pakistan rather than starting a new thread everytime.
Sometimes I feel like I am visiting Pakistani news website when I look at "newest posts" section.
Cheers

there are NO Good news in Pakistan these days
these are the hot topics - which may affect indirectly/directly India.
We don't want millions refugee near our borders so it is necessary to follow changes in paki- politics.
No need to start special thred
India was left in this state by the jihad committed since 980 AD. Now that the Arab world is awash with Oil, its time to demand reparations.
Italy gave Libya a cool $5bn plus? So how much would India be entitled to?
Even today, Congress continues Jizya payments (those going to Haj gets $$$) but where else could this money be spent? And why to one minority religion?

Dear Mcg7,
As much as i enjoy reading your posts, unfortunately i have to agree with the other posters.
1) Posting each and every Pakistan related news in several threads serves no purpose other than make this forum look like a Pakistani forum. Besides, why give unnessary publicity to characters like Zaik Hamid and other worthless publications from that region?
2) A better idea would be to keep all your Pakistan related news to one single thread where you can keep updating all the time. This will make it easier for all of us to keep track of events in “our friendly neighbourhood”.
My 2 cents and hope you take it in the right spirit.
Sincerely,
Seenappa.
A very interesting article by Mr.George Fulton, A white gentleman who took up pakistani citizenship post 9-11.
His feelings reflect the true state of liberals in pakistan.

No Christian can live in Pakistan now. First the hindus were eliminated and it was followed by sikhs. The punjab governor who supported the minority law as killed by his own security guard. The killer is hailed as a hero.
Now this a minister who also supported the law and also a christian by faith is killed.

Pakistan Minister Shahbaz Bhatti assassinated
ANITA JOSHUA
Killing linked to blasphemy issue that claimed life of Taseer
Pakistan's Minister for Minority Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti was gunned down near his residence here on Wednesday morning.
The assassination is being linked to the blasphemy issue that consumed the life of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer in the federal capital itself just two months ago as Mr. Bhatti advocated changes in the blasphemy law.
Pamphlets of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were found at the site of the assassination in the I-8/3 residential area. They referred to the blasphemy issue, lending further credence to the belief that the Minister — a Christian by faith — was assassinated for supporting the amendments to the blasphemy law proposed by Pakistan People's Party legislator Sherry Rehman.
Mr. Bhatti himself had voiced fears for his life, stating that threats had increased ever since Taseer's assassination.
The Minister was on his way to a Cabinet meeting when his car was intercepted by a vehicle and the assailants opened fire. Initial reports suggested that the driver was pulled out of the car before the Minister was fired upon. However, Inspector-General of the Islamabad Police Wajid Durrani quoted the driver as saying that three assailants first aimed at him before pumping bullets into Mr. Bhatti.
At the time of the incident, Mr. Bhatti had no security cover. Though he was assigned two escort vehicles — one manned by the police and the other by the Frontier Constabulary — Mr. Durrani claimed they were told to wait for Mr. Bhatti at his office.
