Also, start questioning the Rs. 15 Lakhs/annum salary and how much you could save by the end of the day. Who knows, the kid grows up and aspire to study abroad and settle down there, hence back to square one.

If the film directors, tv anchors are feeling the brunt with their mega million payouts then you can well imagine the plight of a commoner (Kis khet ki mooli hein). As they say - door ke dhol suhavaney.

If you can afford all the above (high school fees, donations, etc.) and still save a considerable amount at the end of the month while enjoying the life effortlessly then by all means give it a thought. If you have a doubt, my advise is to stay wherever you are.

Here are few lines, from yours truly:

Dil to kehta hey wahan chal,
jahan zindagi hey aur sajal,
kaun karey yahan ka mulyankan,
dil mein khalish hey ik vichitr si,
kutch na-ummeedein hein, hey ik fikr si,
kadam badha agar badhaaney hein,
nahin to tham ja,
aur ik thaap de mann par,
kar apni zindagi kutch to saral...
kar apni zindagi kutch to saral...

Good luck...

why do you keep posting in your language all the time ? It really is not understandable and that too written in English. Please do not do that from now on.

The soul of the expression will be ruined if you try to translate in other language.

Let others enjoy it and why don’t you get some help from someone to understand it?

I can understand your predicament, but the majority here understands what I wrote above and that's what really matters. As someone said above, the soul of it dies if translated.

Your last statement- is it an order? Quite a rude one I must say. I refrain from responding further to it.

No not really an order. But it is definitely weird to see these different languages written in English. Did you study in a school where the local language was the main medium of instruction ? Just a guess.

It's an English forum, at the end of the day.

It is true. Just a few days ago there was an incident in Delhi that was in main page of newspapers. I am deliberately not linking or quoting it. Also you can check travel advisories.

Web2000, I personally know at least 10 families who were rich in India and now living in either US, Canada, UK, or Australia due to the lifestyle and India's share of problems. Trust me, when I am saying rich I mean millionaires in India and were earning a way more than Rs. 15 Lakhs/annum in 90s. One of them owns an Ice Cream Parlour in an upscale/VIP neighbourhood called Khan Market in Delhi. Those who are from Delhi know that Khan Market is the most expansive real estate in India.

So your argument falls flat there. I was talking to one of a tech support guy the other day to whom my company has outsourced the IT support. While I was all ga-ga over India's economy and how the job market is booming there, he was pessimistic and most interested to know about the Canadian Immigration process for himself. He told me he was earning 50k working in the Datacentre based in Delhi. So, go figure and call it whatever you want.

Don't be picky. Count how many millionaires per year come here based on total input of immigrants which is approx 250,000.
