Hi,

I had a PIO (was Guyana) and have changed my citizenship (to become a Canadian citizen).

What happens to my PIO ? Can I continue to use it?

Yes. The change in your country of citizenship does not change your Indian origin.

You have to inform consulate of India in whichever country you are and they might ask you to bring the PIO and they will issue a new one which clearly shows your new passpoer number and nationality. I would suggest you to contact the Indian consulate to avoid any complications.
