it's not about what to choose. I lived 3 year in Canada never cared about citizenship and all. One thing is very clear that I have to settle in India.

Now the discussion I started is that India is changing very fast( though it is still far behind as compared to developed country).

So just asked will it be nice if I go abroad for couple of year, so I can own a big house here. will it make any sense ?

I am not interested in PR, Citizenship and all intact I gave up my PR once.So let's not discuss about comparison.

If that is true then why u care about the quality of life in Canada. You should come here and try to save as much as possible. Live in an average apartment, cook at home, don't spend too much, keep investing in Indian economy and I believe that in a few years you won't have big house in India but have financial freedom also. Just think that u r coming here like a student and ur target is to save as much as possible. The very important thing is: DO NOT BUY HOUSE IN CANADA IF U HAVE TO RETURN BACK. There are only two major expenses in Canada:
1. Owing a house
2. Owing a vehicle

Stay away from these two for few yrs and u will become crorepati with $94K job.

You are living a lifestyle that costs one lakh rupees per month for two people. Try to list them out and see how much they will cost in Canada since you have already lived in Canada.

Do you think you will be able to save anything if you come to Canada and try to live the same lifestyle?

5) owning TV and cable
6) falling sick (remember the medicine is not covered in OHIP if you are not a poor person)

Boss ,

I ve seen people working here and in India as well ... You have a much greater saving capacity in India for the same life style ..... Period !!!

If you want to settle in India , well you are there ..... If you want to earn money , try living the same life style you were living in Canada ..... ( no maids , no drivers , no servants ) and let us know how much it costs .....

However if you wish to come here , live frugally , save money and return , why bother comparing the life styles ?

Not sure what u are trying to do .. telling ur success story in india or asking for peoples opinion..

In general ur story will not apply to the general Technology related work force. Most people from the tech sector make 10 to 16 lakhs if they return to india.
When u make 10-16 lakhs u can save around 3-5 lakhs after tax.

While general salary abroad is in the range of 80K to 120K of which u can save 30K to 50K which is close to 12 to 15 lakh.

So ofcourse it makes more sense for most Technology people to work overseases.. Also the work culture is so bad that u end up spending 12 to 18 hr work days in india..

U are the exception, if u are having a job that pays 30 lakh @ that salary u can save 12 to 15 Lakh and if u can get a good work life balance then enjoy it and stay there..

Personally i think u made a mistake giving up a chance to get canadian citizenship... long term canada has the best prospects We the most mineral resource in the world tell how long will it take for us to be the richest nation..

Not long i say..
