Come here man. Become a truck driver and u can make much more than 40k. Based on ur age by the time u turn to 30 u will have ur own trucking company. Then u will be able to give jobs rather than looking for a job.
FYI only hard working people can succeed as truck drivers.

NOPE...you did not get it correctly. After doing diploma..you may end up working in a store at at ten dollars per hour like many other doctors, MBAs and engineers from India. Many accountants are struggling to get $40K job.

There is nothing called "FAIR CHANCE" in Canada. It is all pure luck.

A Phd in chemistry once said to me this country is a disaster. He moved to US with his family and got job in his field.

I don't want to live in India or any other asian countires.
I Like the culture , people , music of the west and that is the society i choose.

Coming to Education,
Is a Diploma from an ontario college (http://www.ontariocolleges.ca/portal/page/portal/ONTCOL/FindProgram) a Thumbs UP or a Thumbs DOWN according to you fellas?

As I said earlier, if you get a diploma or degree from Canada then you have an advantage over other immigrant who are foreign degree holders. So, one can not compare those studied here in Canada with the ones immigrated here on skill quota. Two completely different yard-sticks, thus comparing Apples with Oranges.

One of my room-mates did one year Business diploma from a second rung BC college and now working as a Project Manager with one of the Crown Corp.

Most of the immigrants on this board are skill based immigrants (including myself) and they may be looking at one side of the coin only - rightfully so. I have numerous examples where one came on study visa or got local education here, and now earning handsomely.

Research well and do what you feel is best for you. You can try Australia as well - just a thought.

Thanks , I'm arriving at a conclusion here, but I'm gonna take into consideration other options as well - such as a university degree.

The only reason that i choose a diploma is because it's two years in length and i can apply for a Post graduation work permit after that and start earning.

The university degree programs on the other hand are 4-year in length and are way more expensive. My parents won't be able to pay more than 10-15 Lakh which is insufficient for four years.

I'm gonna start learning french too :)
