Rather than sex-ed, it would be better if Indian men are educated in social skills. Most Indian men don't have the social skills to meet women, treat them right, by taking them on dates, and then engaging in consensual sex.

and then treat them like a trash...? oops indian men prolly do not need training on that.
What about indian women? Don't they also equally need to get trained/educated on responding to passes, going out freely on a date (with condom and pepper spray in purse ,ok tasers) and gettting engaged on consensual sex?

oh well I see your point and kind of like it as well.....Indian men should get the training to use it on Non Indian women right ? ;);) . But in that case if you live in GTA, you will not have much of opportunity to use the training anyway :)

umm....this issue is a bit complicated and left to the individual to think about. overall, i think most people rely on religious scriptures to think about such an issue. I guess reading the Gita may provide some advice on the issue

its true that k.sutra was written in India, but just because it was written a few hundred years ago, doesnt mean its a legend and everyone is expected to follow it.
besides, k.sutra is made up of more than 20 chapters and only 1 chapter of them is about sex. The rest provide advice on other things like business, employment, religion etc.

ppl always seem to make a big deal of the ancient book

Good man, you mentioned that. I was going to read it but since rest 19 chapters are not much of use I will skip it. Pak gaya those routine books padh padh ke about business, employment, religion etc.

My locking of the original post was based on the thread degrating into bashing of a certain Indian ethnic group, not because the topic is about sex.

Agree with your decision. Discussion on sex or religion is enough to incite people and make them behave irrationally.

I am not talking about religiously following that book. I am just saying that a society that was open to such kind of ideas 500 years ago has become narrow minded due to external factors. Maybe it is time to look back and learn from the past.

And which issue are you talking about?

Again, why are you bashing men on a totally unrelated topic? Most of the Indian men still might be going for arranged marriage. Do you imply that most Indian men rape woman on first date?

IMO, all men and women are have some drawbacks. Neither gender is better than the other.
