Check with the airlines that you plan to travel on as well. Most will not allow travel in the third trimester.

You have read what everyone said and seem to have still made up your mind to travel here. I don't know if it's worth it to put your wife under all the stress involved with coming here!!! Consider her and the baby's health insteasd of all the other things...

One more thing to think about is how are you going to manage with the other child when you are running around with th enew baby?

Is anything more important that the well being of your family?

Good Luck...

I agree withthis. However if you still insist on moving here before your baby is born, why not move earlier so you have more time to get settled down before the baby arrives? You have been out of the country for two years.

Dear M2611,,,whats so fancy & crazy is to avoid the time and papers work in having a visitor visa and applying the PR for my new child, as we are coming to Canda for good. And there is no discussion about how important care for baby & mother during & after pregnancy is,,, my family is what i live for.

Dear Shriya, I have given our settlement worker inclusive information, as i will be the first one to face the bad outcome if any misunderstanding happens. thank you for the good thinking thou.

Dear guptamik, i have already checked.

I would like to clarify some points maybe you get a better understanding .

1-You all presume i insist on flying back to Canada, that,s not true.

2-as any reasonable person my family is what i live for. Their well being is my #1 responsibility and goal in life.

3- I dont need to market myself to any one , but i have never been selfish in my life . And to live in a beautiful, laweful, moral atmospher we made our decision coming to Canada.

Fido, you have gave me some good advice before, so i feel gratitude to you, and every one in here. I am just sorry for what you think of me. I really am.

Any way, thank you for the honest advice, the family care lessons, and the time you had to reply.

may the almighty keep you all safe.

I believe you already got the message from majority of the seniors here. Just wanted to emphasize that based on your 2 lines above, the first option is much more safe and beneficial for #2. Arranging a visa for the new born is not a big deal later on - only if you are still open to that option.

Good luck to whatever you decide to do.

Thanks Hiren for clarrifying my point

To OP,

Believe me , there is no hassel in taking Visitor Visa & then applying PR for baby ( in case you are required )

Anyway, take your own decision !

Keep us updated in case interested

Again All the Best

Confused with OP,

At some place he says FAMILY is most important

At other place, he is discussing about COST & other things for delivery in Canada

Just go ahead & come to Canada & have baby's delivery here
Let the cost be some thosands of dollars ( why care ? )

My 2 cents !

Can I ask you one question -
what so FANCY & Crazy thing about getting baby born in Canada ?

What is more important is - care for baby & mother during & after pregnancy

I don't know how many friends & relatives you have in Canada
EMOTIONAL support is very important during that stage, which is really missing in Canada
Maximum time mother & child will be discharge from hospital within 24 hours
and then you are on your own

Still if you want to take a risk & ready to spent $3000-5000, go ahead

All the Best !

I agree... emotional support and care during first few months and years is more important.
If you were outside for so long... then stay there a two -four years more. She is not going to work anyway.
She will thank you for this.
