nothing complicated in it.
just get a ftp client like smartftp (http://www.smartftp.com/) or much efficient absolute ftp.
then, have the connection info to your server.
boom.. u r connected to your server. just drag and drop your files to upload them to that remote server.

thanx for the help! i can not determine the right path on my newly created webpage. using ftp is a peace of cake and u r right. but getting the right address of free web hosting is not.
there is no tech support for freebies like me.

which service are you using? AFAIK, u have to upload files using their web interface for most of such free service providers.
i may be wrong too

which one is the HTML directory in these two below?
1 http://www.angelfire.com/ab7/packaging-pro
2 http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/cgi-auth/webshell
i created three folders. pub, incoming etc. on1 the first one. i designed the page with web page maker (which gives a lot better options) and could not publish with the built in FTP, then tried with Cute and Bullet proof FTPs. still no good.
my problem lies right here in this instruction clip
Remote Folder :
Enter the path of the directory on the FTP server that stores your Web documents in Directory. Usually, this is 'public_html'. If you're not sure what the HTML directory is, ask your network administrator or ISP.
how about doing me a favor and contact me at :
