My wife is on EI now and we are wondering if there are schools or colleges around that have certain courses (office administration etc) for ei recipients. If anyone has any experience of such - please share.

I have seen the second career options and those qre quite lengthy and complicated and i doubt it will be reasonable for us to wait until second career funding comes through - thats the reason i am looking for other alternative.

Please share any information you might have

Thanks a bunch !

EI has guidance councilors. Also there are a few good ones at the Educational Institutions too. It is well worth your time and efforts to get in touch with one where you can get your wife's educational qualifications evaluated and seek their council. They will advice upon a course that will fetch very good returns after completion.

More difficult and complicated is the situation in a job, more secure the post after qualifying for it. You become irreplaceable. That is a very happy situation to be in.

Everyone has experience in some thing or the other. But it cannot be applied to all of the fields. Not knowing the situation your wife is in, I will hold my comments and urge you to seek proper advice and utilize the available time and resources wisely and enhance her career to the next level, and sooner the better.

Freddie.
