Hi,

I checked UPS website - couldn't find anything.

Staples will have the physical machines but I am trying to avoid buying them,
as its a once in a while service, so not worth buying a fax machine for me.

eFax, service I would like since its a subscription

wonder If anybody has used them or anything similar

thanks in advance

Rakesh ! If you have a fax machine at home , I can provide you a bridge to India (FOC) . In case you dont and the doc's are not confidential , plesase feel free to scan them and send me via mail . I can fax them over for you .
Hope it helps a little.

If you need to send fax once in a while you can fax it from UPS store, etc. (not from website).

I am using efax and it's fantastic but you have to pay monthly fees. Efax may allow you to send free pages for first month.

If you are using Window XP, you can fax the documents directly from your PC by connecting through phone modem (it's excellent) (not in Vista Home premium). Of course you need international phone dialing facility in your phone.

Use calling card to send fax
If you are using Windows to send fax, you do not need to have internerational call facility, just buy a $2.5 India calling card, use it as you use them to call India.

Thanks for feedback so far.

Just to answer/clarify. I don't have a fax machine, and don't want to buy one.

1) The documents are confidential so dont want to scan and send them to you. Thanks for the offer, however.

2) I only have a cell phone, so not sure how to connect it to the comp and use windows xp to fax. However, an interesting piece of info.

3) I will check with Canada post and UPS store and update the canadian desi forum

This will help others

Thanks (again)

You can also go to staples and they would fax them. You do not need to buy the machine from there. They have fax services available.
