Hello frds...I have some questions which I am sure my fellow desi's can throw some light...I have my son coming up to join Jr Kindergarten this year and we are confused as to send him to public or catholic school. I read on the catholic school board website that the child has to be catholic or have catholic parents. Is this true?..any of you have send their kids to catholic school and have had any problems getting admission there? also how is the overall comparison between the two. If this topic has been already discussed then please guide me to the thread...thanks and looking forward for your active participation on the discussion...

For a child to be accepted into a Catholic elementary school one of the parents has to be Catholic. For secondary school I think they take anyone. I believe the best way to choose the school would be to look at the EQAO school results
