I am a new immigrant to Canada.I just Landed Last Month from USA.I am presently living in Toronto and searching for a job and came across this site.
I am looking for a job in the Software Quality Assurance side.I worked for about 3 years as a QA in USA and moved down to Toronto and looking for jobs here right now.
PLs let me know if anybody has or can help in this regard.

Can you please specify your skills and expertise in detail.
Like which softwares you used as tools. and what types of softwares/modules you tested, etc.?

well come to the QA club...right now the market is bad in QA as the supply is exceeded than the demand and people are ready for any price. Hence you need to have proper contacts and ready to work for abnormally low wages.
If i come across any thing will let u know as i am in the same boat except i worked 8 yrs in USA and 4 yrs in canada..

From the question as well as the name of the OP, it seems to me (and you might think of it in that manner) that this person is not serious about living in Canada and really finding a job. Don't you think a person who has worked in IT field in USA for three years would have done some research before he came to Canada to live or even came here with a job in hand?

Not everybody comes to Canada with job in hand. It would be great if someone can help him.
Thanku You Happy,nkannuri and wed2000 for your reply. i dont know what others think in this forum,but i have done a lot of research before i could come here but nothing worked out I know that the market is too bad now for QA's but i must give my Try.I just cant sit with folded hands saying that the market is bad.
Dont Pass such comments and hurt the feeling of others.Not every body comes here with a job.

I totally support Chandresh's response. It was hard nosed and in your face. If you feel that you have been offended, wait for more when you work in a white dominated workforce.
Recently I met this Gora who was working for Bell Canada as Tech Support Agent who was laid off along with about 200 of his coworkers and his job was relocated to India.
He was pissed off at me and started telling me that why are guys coming here and taking the Native's jobs away?.
I guess I could have asked him how would have the aborginals felt about losing their land to this goras forefathers?.
But I did not, but the moral of the story please be prepared for further offensive and in your face response/attitude.
