I don't support that either.
India yesterday observed the annual 26/11 ceremony, the first five observed by MMS who strived for Nobel Peace Prize and now the first by Modi.
Nothing has changed on the Pakistan side. They continue to harbour masterminds whether Dawood or Hafiz Sayed and continue to attend International forums like UNO or SAARC. They never feel guilty.
On India's part, for all the talk of punishing the guilty, we will have the mentioned masterminds, they themselves landing in India after retirement from "service" and will definitely lead a peaceful life. We will have any number of thinkers, retired judges and intellectuals clamouring for their pardon.

The SC has stayed the execution of the mentioned terrorist, after they themselves had pronounced death sentence on him in March 2013 for his role in the Mumbai blasts of 1993 which is said to have killed only 257 people. The President of India too had rejected his mercy petition in April 2014. But still the SC thought it was wise to question their own wisdom as well as that of the President of India.

Yakub had surrendered as early as 1994 and thanks to the Indian Government and our Judiciary the trials still goes on, now into 2015. In another 20 years the accused may himself die a natural death and thereby make it easy for the lawyers and judges.
Reading all this common man can only conclude that people like Dawood Ibrahim and Hafiz Sayed must retire and come home for there cannot be a softer nation on earth in dealing with terrorists who bring death and injuries to 1000s of people.
