this is my calculations. I never finds anything hard to believe since I also used to work 14-15 hours a day to meet target though mind you nobody gave me 1.5 times salary. since managerial level staff never got overtime.

hey its not hard ... may be u r one of the luckiest pricess , who dosent have to worry about working....
but some ppl do need to work hard , specially in the begining of thier life.
i have done two jobs in the begining of my life in canada. i am sure many has done it or doing it.
the question here is to have extra income which means xtra work. no one get free money.
Again, if u dont need to work then its ok... but dont scare other ppl

As a matter of fact call centre job is good for newcommers..especially desi's
- Office environment and potential to move as team leader
- communication skills/accent improvement
- interaction with collegues who are in the same boat and share the info of new jobs
- canadian job experience which is more valuable than factory jobs
- Last but not least...decent pay around 10 to 13$ + overtime+gifts by reaching targets.
- eventually getting a inbound calls taking job in reputated companies like banks, telecom, other service industries.
PS: I worked for 6 months and out of which 4 months as of selling some creditcards and 2 month worked in a bank(which is more respectable).
Ofcourse after the call centre job i was hired in the same bank in IT :-)
