QA course
Hi,
I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with undergoing QA training course here in Ontario.Wanted to know if Tekstrom Ltd., ( Brampton) is a good center.I have my eduction in Computers adn am working with TD ( cust Service).would like to know which compnaies/ institutions offer dependable QA training courses and placement services( COOP/volunteer/contract).
Hello
l also have the same question ....
l ve heard there are some institutions which gives training and 100% placement as a QA designation...
pls let us know too...if yu know some..
There is nothing like 100% placement.
If you want make things happen:
1. Do the necessary home work by reading extensively about QA and related subjects ( thanks to internet)
2. Find any centre or person to get some training. All are relatively bad or good. But definitively you will learn some thing. Do not expect too much.
3. Then make a nice resume (cooked one) and be in the market.
4. Sooner or later if you hang long enough you will get a job. Later you may loose it soon but with a gain ( Tamilkuruvan explained very well how it goes … in one of his mails related to SAP training).
Hi there
There are 100% guaranteed placements thru sum agencies...
l knew few of my frds i met in hydrabad....they were workin in QA in toronto...
they were frm diff field (not IT guys) but they paid to this agencies (around 1000$ to learn QA) it was a month course....and they had guaranteed placement...
agencies have settings with companies...they gave 6 months contract work in beginning...pay was around 20$ per hour...
but unfortunately l dont have contacts of any of those frds....
thats y i thought if anyone in here knows abt this kinda agencies...
any help ll be greatly appreciated

Fido.
Hitech institute in downtown is good.
They allow u to repeat the course if u are not satisfied and complain..
My wife took the QA course twice (2nd time was a repeat after complaints) last year and then she managed to get a internship in QA.. today she is working as a independent contractor making decent money.
Hitech did nothing to help in placement and any institute that gives out promises is lying..
i helped her with interview questions ( i have been in IT for 10 years ) and my contacts helped her get the internship..
Hitech or any QA course will only give u a overview .. u will have to put a lot of hardwork and need lot of guidance..
