I want to buy one large screen TV.

Any Ideas friends?

Where to buy from?
What care to take?
What to look for in wide screen TV?

Thanks.

You have to have a lot of money to burn to buy a Plasma TV. I'll buy one when I win the lottery.

You can get a bigger HD projection TV for less than quarter of the price. A good place to start would be a Best Buy in your area. They generally have much better choice and prices than FutureShop. Or if you're specifically looking for say a Sony, then it might be better to go to a Sony Store.

Not much, but my two cents. And oh yeah, don't forget to get a killer sound system. I think its actually more important than the TV.

From the reviews I've heard, Bose is awesome. But may cost you more than a Sony.

If you want to go really high end, you can go for a Bang and Olufsen...

A big TV 50+inches is good only if you have large room. otherwise, you'll see the blue lines around the faces.
Buy Sony
HDTV- not ready projection TVs have gone damn cheap.
Buy a wide screen if you are into watching DVD movies.
Yeah, go to Best Buy or Future Shop to check out. Tons of desi guys work there.

I recently bought and am using a 42x42" plazma screen
and it is what they advertise. It cost alot but, for me, it is
worth every cent. Mine is a Fujitsu with a resolution of 1024 pixels
and there is nothing bad I can say about it. Zvi
