NRIs can invest in FDs in Indian banks provided it is jointly held with an Indian resident.
Upon maturity, if interest earned is not re-patriated, it is not taxable in Canada.
Of course, the interest will be taxable in India in the hands of the primary holder of the joint FD.
I assume Post Office securities follow similar rules.

Why settle for 12% PA when you can make 15-25% per MONTH

Simply b'cos your way of "investing" is no proper way of investing but more of gambling..
Investments are something entirely different.

If you can show me you have made 15-25% per month since 1982, then you are a real guru.
I have made more than that for a few months at a time in forex but it hasn't been consistent where years are concerned. In the last few weeks I have made more than 15-25% per week man- forget the per month yaar! There were days where I made more than 25%!
No big deal.
Yeh dil maange more boss! Hit me with your best shot!
My wife has done ditto in the stock market.
Truck on!

and besides what I do to make that kinda bread is considered trading not investing.
what is your investment method?
It can also be momentum investing. 2-3 month action like my wife does.
In the old sense 2-3 month momentum investing is still considered trading.
so share the medium like the whether it is stocks , forex, property, gold.
Please note when i say 15-25% it is based on what I actually put down as the margin.
If you look at the manner certain investment gurus look at it, then if you take an investment loan, say for even a small amount like $25,000, and invest it in say mutual funds where the distribution pays for the interest and principal then my dear friend those lucky b#sT$rds who took such investment loans in March or April have seen their investments grow to more than $30,000 but since they put zilch down as all was borrowed money then you have an infinite , yeah man INFINITE, amount of return! Not a sou from their pocket and they made money.
It's all perception!

But hey, let it all hang out and tell us how to make 15-25%.
