I am very fan of cloth diapers.

I have used for my son. He never got any allergies or reaction becoz of 100% cotton. Also, save huge huge money.

I have more than 25 diapers which are organics from mother ease with one size means it can fit to baby from birth to potty train. This diapers, I had used only 1 time as I started to work early and my mom did not want to use.
We still have it them, I kept for second child. However, I would like to sell it as we are not planning immd. and making space in the house.

Also, you can get 80% resale value of this diapers. I did not put add, but I know once I put it it will go in mintues as these are organics.

Then later, when my son was 1 year old, I left my job and went back to cloth diapers. Last time, I did not have time to figure it out about cloth diapers in detail and I thought its time consuming with work, which I regert now.. It was daaam easy and cheap and good for baby and environment.

As, I had those organic diaper in large lot; I kept for resale. And I bought small lot as my baby is bigger and don't use that much with different and various brands to try.

And Its amazing. We are saving tons. Sometimes, you just change the diaper and baby do poop....oh.. whole diaper waste in 10 mintues and it cost 30 cents.. to wash in washer cost only 2cent.

There are bunch of website will show you calculations about saving with cloth diapers.

But my experince is you should really spend money when you buy the diapers it should be good brand..which is somewhere $20-25 and one size so you can use it as baby grow no mater what size.

We are using bumgenius, baby kanga, Happy heiny, Fuzzy buns, Dry bee..and I like all. Bumgineus is the no.1 and happy heinz material is very soft...Baby kanga I got in only $10 so worth it.

I bought this cloth diapers from some one who never used it, so she sold to me only $16 ..and regular price is $25. And I got brand new. I bought lot of 20 diapers.

I don't want to use my organic diapers as I can get all money back with resale.

I bought organic when my baby was just born to avoid any rashes..and then bcoz i started work and no time to figure out about cloth diapers, its just went into my racks.

Then later when I got time, my baby was 1 and I don't need organic diapers as he get no rashes with any material..so I bought the cheaper one from another mom having in mind, I will resale the organic.

I can also resale our new diaper lot..as its amazing resale value. But my son is not yet potty train.

I kept organic with thinking of using for second baby and then we pospond our plan for second child for a while..

so if you use for second child....so much +++++ saving.

You can ask any questions to me about cloth diapers..we are big fan

About cloth wipes...
We did not like it.

We never used wipes.. does not mean my baby is not clean :)

He is super clean with just water..Everytime, we wash it with running water.

And that is the reason he never ever got any rashes...

We had no choice of using wipes when we are traveling.

But about cloth wipes.. I found its yikes...

Hi Binal / Wife of Binal :
I have 2 questions for you

1. How do you wash these cloth diapers? How convenient is it? How hygenic is it?

2. if you look at your post, you say that washing is only 2 cents? Do you put the soiled cloth diapers in the washer / dryer?

Peace by TK

Most of the brand of cloth diapers provide information about how to wash and care instructions.

It may vary with some brands related to clothes if its made of hemp which most absorb all wet..

so you should always follow their instructions.

You can check some of the website of this brands
Happy heins
Fuzzy buns.. etc..

Also, It depend to mom how they want to wash.

1. You don't requried full cycle of laundry to wash the diaper which is just wet but not soiled. The way its done is it sent to rinse cycle with half a spoon of detegernt.. Now about detergent we use tide.. I tried to use the eco one, but it keep smells. There are speical cloth diaper detegernt which I did not try yet. Also, if pee is very smelly, sometimes kids pee can smelly too..you can use some vinegar..or there are dryball of vinegar which use not directly with clothes..But that need to be use only when its very smelly...Mine get very clean with tide only.

2. If the diaper is soiled, I do regualr wash. Now very tricky here. When baby is very baby their poop (sorry to say some yikee things, but you asked) is very liquid..most of the mom will say yes, that need to just rinse under the water before washing them in washer. Or there are accessories you can buy which attach with your washroom, like small sprayer which directly go into your washroom..
here is the link :

http://www.parentingbynature.com/05_minishower.htm

when baby grow their poop become very soild, which don't stick with cloth so need to just drop it in the toilet and then put in the diaper wet bag.

You can also purchase wet bag, which keeps diaper inside and smell will be not out.
And then directly empty that wet bag in washer.

Its very hygine..believe me than using those wipes etc..

Infact, my baby pee so much, so he was waking up in the night for diaper change. We use to buy costly pampers overnight ..and then I found with cloth diaper, I just use double liner and some very absorsant night time diaper and now he sleep thru entire night ..no more awaking for diaper change.

Sorry but this to elobrate..but when you see mom wipes the bum with those wipes ....its not clean..water makes it clean. And clothes make baby comfortable.

We use our donwstair pantry washroom, to clean my son in basin and toliet. Instead of wipe, we run frist water and then with soap water and flush the soil in toliet and diaper go into diaper wet bag.

Which is more cleaner than keeping those dirty diaper for weeks.. and if you dont want smell..then people use those expensive odore cleaner diaper system and refill what not?

Did I answer TK? Hygine is much more safter, cleaner and without allergy with clothes than this paper....

Its huge saving, and with second child or more baby it will increase as now you don't need to invest into new diapers..you can use same diapers..

check out diaperswappers.com
you can buy very gently used also.

also you can see big community using it...its awareness of green and eco friendly too..

I like the way child grow up in india.. Like we did grow in big family, so never had to worry about baby siting.. our grandparent was there.. we played with cousine. We stayed in one house with my two uncles and each of them had 2 child..so we use to play everyday and we were all together 8 kids.. never mother have to worry about taking out...when I was 10 taking my small brother out with me to play ..I know time is gone now...
but still we can use those old things..which was made for reason i guess..

Like our indian jula... my son was crying all night..and as soon as we bought godhiyu or jula.. he get sleep in mintues...

anyway, just went to off track from diaper things..

Pamper is very expensive to compare cloth diapers.

Forget to answer your second question. When diapers are washed in washer ..no more soiled..even before it go into washer, shouldn't be with soiled.. yikees..but it need to be flush in toliet.. Sorry to elobrate, but we clean it with complete hygine...by using either sprayer and whole diaper is not soiled..so we touch from the side where its not dirty.. I use one pocket diaper ..so if you see the brand it has outside layer of pul.

Dryer..its very sunny outside now. and we have big deck, so we do sun dry..but we can use dryer also. Still its cheaper.
