I agree with you, Shailesh.

Most of the friendships here end up with a realtor's home offer or a financial plan...and if nothing, good references. Eventually, business is concerned. What to claim to people from diffrent race when own people put on a diffrent mask.

Other side, doing business in own community and with friends is not bad but when a friendship is being developed for money purposes, this is ridiculous. People often do...you know, baap bada na bhayiya...sabse bada rupayiya...so, money comes first before feelings.....be aware of facts. I feel we have all kind of people everywhere.

I respect everyone's feelings and too miss parents, family and old friends like anyone out here. I have personally seen good friendships here too, so good luck!

Hello,

In this world there are all sorts of people. You know there is a saying in hindi...not all fingers are alike. You can not stop enjoying life in the hope of making new friends just because you had bad experiences. Having said that there is always 3 sides of story. So, in my opinion let bygones be bygones and move on with the lesson learned not with remorse.

That's so true Shailesh. Very well said.
I can related to it.

Can't really understand why one desi has to treat the other desi like this.

If you are looking for friends, stay as friends. But if you are looking for business, state that upfront.

There is no harm in doing business with other desi but at least don't treat them as "Murgas" If your business practice is good, and you are nice and genuine.. the word of mouth will get you many more clients.
