The IPL is moving to South Africa. IPL matches and the Lok Sabha elections are at the same time. The home minister has accused the BCCI for not discussing the issue with the govt. Looks like the super ego of BCCI and Lalit Modi played out. During the election days they could have not played any matches.
Anyway its India's loss and Protea's gain.

This is BCCI's time. IPL prolly should be International Premium League owned by BCCI. International players get paid more anyway and then there are international cheerleaders. Pak is banned for now otherwise KKR would be full of them as well. It's a shame. They can squeeze the schedule overseas but cannot do adjustment for national cause. Ganda hain par dhanda hain yah! Next government have something that they can really target. ICL too can see an opprtunity here.

It was a difficult situation. I would have loved to see IPL staying in India for our economy, local population enjoyment etc. But on the other hand, it is a good thing that it is not cancelled.

Is IPL more important than the Lok Sabha elections as seems to be made out by the event organisers. In IPL1, a player like Dhoni alone made as much as Rs. Crores in hardly 1.5 months time. These cricket administrators seem to be bothered about only making money. Even when policemen at Lahore served as human shields and half a dozen of them lost their lives for the sake of Sri Lankan cricketers, we found from London to Down Under, all of them arranged Press Conferences to mourn NOT the death of the policemen but cancellation/possible cancellation of this tour, that tour, Champions Trophy, IPL, World Cup etc, about cricket not being played again in Pakistan. It is like asking for cigaratte lighter when the house is on fire. A few months earlier, when about 2 lakh people were trapped in war zone in Sri Lanka, Dhoni, Jayawardane and their men were playing cricket match hardly a few hundred km away. If some extremist element had viewed things differently and done something different it would have been a great tragedy for the entire sub-continent. Will it not be better to finish off all the terrorist elements , by the coming together of all the governments in the sub-continent and then play cricket under peaceful conditions.

If you keep track of what is happening in Pakistan(UNFORTUNATELY THE PEOPLE OF INDIA SEEMS TO BE IGNORANT OF THIS FACT) they will understand that Taliban is a few Kilometers away from India.

Today Kashmir was on fire against the Supreme Court decision against Talibanisation of India.

The same set of law seems to handout NSA to Varun Gandhi while Madhani of PDP is being treated with golden gloves.

It is a matter of time before our own PC- Police Constable, Oops!, Mr.Palaniappan Chidambaram the Homely Minister of India will feel the real heat from these elements in his own constituency!.

Thank God the IPL is not being held in India as a bunch of about 10 Kids in their teens can hold the country to ransom.
