based on the information i gather from this post i should go with SAP security and BASIS first .

I can send you SAP Basis documents if you want. Or you can search them on the internet, look for ADM100, TADM10 and TADM12. This is where you start.

i also have some database ( oracle dba) knowledge and i can deal with SQL

Good. If you are getting into Basis, you will need Db and OS knowledge.

sorry about asking this again and again but i have opportunity to take course threw EI benefits and i wanna take this opportunity by thinking long way.

I've always been a consultant in Canada, never took up a full time job, so don't know how this EI thing works.

I am not to sure but i guess SAP BASIS and SAP Security is relatively small portion of SAP and has small training, but with EI i can go for longer courses upto 6-8 months. so why not take a advantage of going for bigger modules.

again, i might be wrong on thinking so please correct me if i m making u upset saying basis and security is relatively small :(

How I hope it was a small thing, I learn something new everyday. Let me know if you need any other help.

This is sure turning out to be a good guidance . Thanks Fellas .... Although Basis is more Sys Admin related , does it not make sense to have a basic ABAP knowledge ?
