Guys,
received my ROE today. It is put as "Dismissal" as the cause of leaving the job.
I am preparing to file my EI with an explanation.
Peace by TK

first of all sorry TK about getting fired.
With Dismissal as a reason on ROE, I am afraid & sorry to say that it would be damn hard at this point of time to qualify for EI. First research & try your best to make a case & put it in most presentable way to the counselor.
Right now the market & the counselor's are really hard & in spite of recent budget exclusives it's becoming difficult to quality for EI even for the people who were laid off.
Best of Luck

yes, I agree with Raj Canada. Emloyer do not loose any money but still TK can get benefits from EI. he should try to talk to his ex-employer.

Acording to newspapers, EI benefits have been increased by five weeks. This is across the board and will go in effect very soon.
