Wonder why Muthalik chose Mangalore? Why only that pub? Why not any other venue in the pub city of Bangalore? There is another story to this incident. Some of those involved were former employees of that pub who were fired before. They needed a reason to retaliate against the owner. So they caught hold of Muthalik and did the damage.

Assualting women? Is this what they were taught in schools/colleges (if at all they attended). How would they feel if their sisters/moms/nieces were assualted for no reason?

This is a total mess.

A set of people taking law into their own hands, the media blowing it up out of proportion, the union ministry fighting with the NCW for not getting the report which they wanted.The Congress is not able to find another issue to displace BJP from Karnataka.

In the earlier case lady from NCW gave a report saying that the hotel guys did not have adequate protection/security and also whether the hotel had the necessary permits to sell alcohol, while the Union Minister Mrs.Renuka Choudhary does not want all those spoken about but only the manhandling of the ladies as the issue.

The globalization with exposure to west and the western media has brought in a change in the Indian lifestyle. Another incident

The teenaged daughter of CPI(M) MLA from Manjeshwar C K Kunhambu who was dragged out of a bus along with her acquaintance while they were travelling to Mangalore, today said the abductors "slapped" her and no fellow travellers came to her rescue.

This situation is going on becoming worst. I hope police takes some step against this kind of activity & stop this kinda embarrassing public disturbances against womens happening in Mangalore.
