On a weekday what do you do when you reach home until you sleep ?
I heard from some canadians they go to either a dance class or a game meaning badminton etc. on weekday evening !! I was wondering if some of us do that ?
I spend with my family, as my kids spend all day in school/daycare . So i think
my evenings are for them....

My job is quite hectic and I just have a few hours before sleep. What I do is :
Buy provisions / vegetables (for one day) when returning from office to home
Cook
Clean up
Set up and refridgeirate the next days lunch.
Watch TV / Tamil Comedy or songs on You tube
Use my apartment Gym / Whrilpool (rarely)
Read some books which I have taken from the library, likewsie I read also in the washroom the next day morning.
If you really want to do some physical activities outside of the house , I can suggest (Some of which I have done some years back) :
Visiting a Gym / Swimming pool
Make some friends and visit your local community centres and do a number of activities from sports / Playing cards etc...
Walk in the PATH from Union station seeing if any good deals are there / or if you can receive something free
Buy a TTC Pass (if you already not have one) and try the diff. routes that the bus takes you.
Enrol for Ballet / Salsa Dancing etc...
Many centres have activities where you can drop in with your kid and and play with your kid/ other kids / talk with parents etc...
May be enroll your kid for Ice hockey and interact with parents in the Ice rink.
Hope this helps
Peace by TK

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
My son has Taekwon Do classes on Mondays and Wednesdays (6.30~7.30), Soccer on Tuesdays (6.30~8.30), UCMAS on Fridays (6.30~8.30). So we (him and me) are pretty much booked for the entire week evenings, except Thursdays - when we let him play with his friends and I catchup with my pending issues, friends etc. I also have 3.5 yr old daughter who accompanies me everywhere I take my son to break the boredom of playing at home the entire day. Also this 1 or 2 hr break works well for my wife who get a much needed break from baby sitting...
Due to the cold weather, we prefer the kids take thier shower every evening before going to bed, instead of morning. So the last 1/2 hr to 45 mins is spent in shower, brushing, reading and some talk before retiring to bed at 9.30 pm.
Works well for all of us.
