Come on DD buffs help us out,

I think there was Akshay Anand (the guy who played Rani Mukherjee's brother in GHULAM) and it was produced by Anand Mahendroo and directed by Anant Mahadevan ( Shahrukh Khan's dad in Baazigar , Killer in Khiladi -1992) ...

i still sometimes think of Malgudi days.The little dark boy called swami.Oh as a kid i loved to watch that serial.The sundays used to be best of all days starting from morning micky and donald,star trek,showtime and in evening vikram & vatal and then movie.Wow i miss good old days entertained was limited but was clean.
