Hello friends,
Has anybody had any experience with this. What is this 'no margin call' and how good is it for investment.
Thanks
AGF no margin call loan is usually used to secure a loan for buying mutual fund investments.
It is a 20 year tenure but one can cancel the loan a t any time w/o fees nor charges.
Such a loan is at prime +1.25% for multi-fund loans and prime + .75 for AgF funds.
Certain fund companies like AIC, Aegon, Equitable may also be eligible for preferred rates.
AGF prime is at 4.5%- higher than most banks.
No margin call means they will not theoretically ask you to ante up any money nor securities should your underlying investment lose value.
Pretty good for investments.
These are a few characteristics. What exactly are you looking for?
