CD's,
Of late, I seem to be having some problem with hearing. I canot hear clearly what most people are talking even when talking to me. This is mostly when they talk in a soft voice and I always have to ask them to repeat tehir sentences again. Back home in India, people uses always to talk with a high voice and I had no trouble understanding them. But here, I have noticed that even when others seems to hear and understand soft voices (voice in low tone), I canot. This symptom is aggrivated when I am eating. When I cam eating (chewing), I just canot hear what others are saying.
Any Cd's with the same problem and their views? Since I donot have a family doctor, I donot know who to turn to.
Any help appriciated.
Peace

It could be something as simple as excess mucus between your ears, or could be the onset of adult hearing loss.
You really need a doctor to examine this.
If it's mucus, it can be drained out or dried using medication.

Hi TK -
You need to have a family doctor. Why don't you have one?
Regardless, in the meanwhile, you can go to a walk-in clinic. I once had to for my ear infection. They prescribed anti-biotics and I was fine in a couple of weeks.
Get it checked soon.
Hope that helps.

B'lorean,
I am suffering from mild hearing loss and not from ear infection. I belive what Pratick said that it might be Mucus which can / should be drained. I am not sure if walking into a walk-in clinic can solve this problem as the doctors that I have seen in walk-in's hardly know anything except the usual (like treating a cough, fever etc...)
I donot have a family doctor since where I live, family doctors are hard to come by

The reason I mentioned you need a family physician is that way you can get a referral to go see an ENT specialist that can give you a thorough check-up and provide better treatment.
