I think the ontario market is a bit slower too (like all markets across Canada).
There are quite a few job postings for technical support specialists in BC. Are all your computer skills up to date? Is your resume updated? Have you shown any employment counsellors in your area?

I have my resume changed to Canadian requirements. Attended the NOW (TDSB-Newcomer orientation for work) program. Applied to almost all the jobs related to my experience.Now I want to take up any suitable job immediately and look for the desired job later. I can think of taking up education only while I start earning Canadian money so for the moment I have no plans to study.

I have submitted to Xerox- online and also at the downtown office in person.Received acknowledgements of my submission of resumes.I have also submitted at Canon- Online and at the downtown office. As suggested I would visit the Missisauga office in person and see if it helps out.
