has any1 done any software testing course in toronto and working in the field. if yes pls share with us the details as to where have u done the course how long did it take and the cost of the course. also were u able to get a job without much prb as soon as u completed the course. do u need to be a computer background person to do this course.

Hi Samna..
I too am searching a job in software QA.
I did a short course from Toronto college of Technology for Loadrunner.
The teaching was not good at all..
But I got the short opportunity to work for 4 months in a good company.
It was a co-op position and they did not continue me.
After that I am back to square one..
I am appearing for ISTQB certification exam this month..
Hope this will enhance my resume..

My wife did a course from HiTech institute in downtown..
She managed to get a Coop opportunity in a Real estate sector company.
Course was not great but they allowed her to repeat the course as she was not satified.
they teach QTP which is in demand for testing..

here everybody demands for at least 3-4 yrs of exp
I really don't know how to get thr'

If u have the knowledge u should make up a resume for the 3-4 years exp..

I came from india almost 3 years ago. I have done Bachelors in Engg in computer science..
I just finished QA course from Synergy Business College.. Can you please guide how to get the co-op jobs in any company... i dont have any experience with it.. But i have recently done a project as business analyst in Rogers for there project CIM.
Please Guide me ... looking for response....

Why do u want to move to QA if u have exp as BA..
BA role is considered on par with developers .. QA is lower..
Since u have already worked at Rogers u should be looking for position there..
From what i hear they are on a major Systems rengineering path and are looking for Business Analysts..
