I want to buy a inkjet printer, which is better for homeuse..
I bought lexmark last time, but ink gets dry if i dont use it regularly...
Pls give ur suggestions....

Most inkjet printers will give the same problem. If you are not printing too many pages AND if you are printing mostly black, try lower end laser printers. They are cheaper now and thier cartridge is expensive but generally prints around 2000 pages (depends on size of printer and cartridge) - so its cheaper than inkjet.

Hi ,
I was on the lookout for buying a all-in-one which can scan , copy & print .... so far what I ve understood is that though the inkjets are low priced but the cartridges are expensive and dry up w/o use .... so basically its a trade off b/w high initial cost vs high maintenance cost .
How much does average ink / cartridge replacement cost for average Lexmark printers ? I have shortlisted 2 below (both for $29/-) and wish to take an opinion as to which of them is better . Thanks.
