One of my friends just missed winning the lottery by 2 or 3 numbers. So that got me thinking.....what would you do if you won the lottery? Say 10 M
I would likely quit my job and go back to India where I would start a non profit organization to encourage entrepreneurship for the less privileged and students. I would likely travel extensively, buy a couple of vacation properties and a couple of fast cars....... ;-)
So fantasize a little....what would the folks on this board do?
If I win a lottery, I would 
1. Buy a good house cash down in a posh locality.
2. Car ( one for each)
3.Call family to Canada instead of going back to India( reason being qulaity of life here) and would buy them a house too.
4.Put my kids in Private school.( hum bade log hain bhai!)
5.KEEP A FULLTIME MAID as we do in India( Gosh I so much miss my Sheela the Kamwali..may be i'll call her)
6.Invest somewhere i can get regular returns
7.Start donating and become a socialite
8. Go out on some Cruise
ooohhhhh my little one just woke up and so did I!!!

1. DOnate 51% to Charity/ religious missionary work.
2. Open some sort of immigrants welcoming centre at the airport and sort of direct new immigrants to guest houses / charitable institutions run by people of their country
3. Fly to all the big cities of USA/Canada/Mexico/ Eurrope and see the locality
4. Buy a 2 bedroom apartment for more than USD 100,000 in the world's tallest tower in Dubai and have my parents settle in that apartment.
5. Go to my university and complain to the Principal about the shabby education that we received from the professors who taught us (incidentally they are still there). Likewise to my School also.
6. Resign from my present job and search for a new one.
7. Buy my car and get a second hand SUV.
8. Repay back USD. 32K that my brother spent for my mothers pace maker operation in the USA
9. Gift USD 2000 to the owner of CanadianDesi for his service to the soceity and opening up an avenue like CD where we can be mutually be benefited.
10. Visit Sankaracharya in USA. and eat with him and his family in a Veg. restuarnat.
Could go on, but I have deadline at work.

1. 50% i will spend on child abuse activities. Donate who can totally stop use of children in sex and pornography.
2. Stop looking for job.
3. Go back to backhome
4. Buy properties for additional income.
5. Take care that my family do not break.

7. Hire finance MBA for further good management of money so that it grow up than keep on reducing. otherwise may be after 15yrs, i will have to look for job again

2) buy bunglows in 2 different hill stations one in India and one in some other country
2) Ensure i have money buy 3 new cars (very expensive cars) every 3 years all my life
3) Get a no stress job (dosent matter how much is the pay)
4) Enough money in FD to get 3 lakhs every month growing at rate of inflation all my life
4) Donate rest of money to hospitals

ok if i won 10 M herez wht i wanna do
-First of all set aside 10% for charity thingy, repay my parents what they spend on my education (with interest so thy can use it after retirement)
-Buy nice 3 bdrm house (paid off)
-Don't want any super cars so i'll buy top end Benz or Audi, will keep my Accord as well (will soup it up)
-Buy nice upgrades for my motorcycle
-Make investment so i can get regular income
-Then i think get marry so my wife can make me poor again (I'll keep working at my present job though 
)
