I saw Jodhaa Akbar this weekend
Its simply amazing !
Direction is good as well as Hrithik - Ash acting
Only thing which surprises me was Climax
Its very well executed, but alas its almost copied from Troy which stars Brad Pitt
So if you see Jodhaa Akbar, just have a look of following clipping
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YRFFw4IC_0
To my surprise, there are 2-3 more scenes copied from same movie Troy
Any comments!
I saw it yesterday at AMC, Scarborough....really great movie, acting and superb direction.... must watch!!

Somehow got a little disappointed after watching movie . May be the positive movie reviews raised our expectations !
Aish ...can she ever express herself through eyes...her freezed gazes makes me wonder what if it was Madhuri in her place.
Hritik is good but as per history Akbar was 5'2'' tall .
Directors should spend some more time for casting and pick charaters who fall in line with the originals .
What if Slaman khan or Amir were casted for this role ( no offence to Hritik..He too is good)
Also some elements like Akabar's Ratans..Birbal,Tansen could have been touched or at least given a mention coz they define the persona of the great king.
The kitchen sequence where Jodha is asked to eat..could have shown some hesitation as a Hindu wife is eating before her husband!
Scene where Akbar is sitting with sufis and they tell him about Jannat and Jahannum ...they could have picked some lines which made the audience too say 'Wah kya baat kahi hai'.
Overall indeed a very nice one time watch movie but lacking depth in the storyline and scenes. ( for me and me only)
May be 'rewriting the written' made it lack the lusture!
Started watching it (thank God I downloaded it), and switched it off after 10 minutes. Worst period film ever made (after Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal). I rather watched 'No Entry' for the 20th time. It was fun undoubtedly.

Though star-studded and furnished with Lavish Sets, Jodha Akbar lacs the basic element - a sustainable script.
Unlike earlier Saga on the great Mughal - Akbar, 'Mughal - e- Azam', it does not even have a couple of dialogues which could be recollected after a decade.
After all, it is the script which succeeds or fails, not fantasies like Jodha Akbar.
