Worked Mon-Wed, gave 2 interviews on Thursday, and no work on Friday.

Outcome of interviews? It was agency interviews and presently had no positions available.

Thw winter months are usually low demand months as far as warehouse jobs go. It will pick up in another 1 month or so.

How to find out how other provinces are doing in terms of job creation, even labour jobs creation? It seems more than 60% land up in Ontario (basically GTA).

Hello Friend,

What you are experiencing is true and very true in Canada. There are not many labour jobs out there and forget about professional jobs. I have been here for 6 months and have moved from Toronto, to Ottawa to Montreal and Back to Toronto, its all the same, to get a job in our field is like finding a diamond here. I know I will never get a IT Job. Labour Jobs sometimes, they call sometimes they don't. Its very bad here in Canada.

I am going home next month, I have lost omy confidence, self esteem and money in this country. I have met lots of people from India, Brazil, Hong Kong, China and they all have the same story. This country only needs "Skilled Labourers". I aslo met a guy who was working in a bif firm called KPMG and he's from Malaysia, he has been here for 4 years and he has had enough of this place. My advice to you, is simply do not waste your time here, its all mind games in this country.

About a week back I got 2-3 calls from different agencies for labour work but then I was working.

I am jobless now and when I call them now, they say they have no work.

GTA seems to be Greater Trouble Area or Great Trauma Area for me! Tons of immigrants and no work here!

Request members of the OTHER PROVINCES OF CANADA to respond on this issue. Is the situation similar in that provinces too?
