Got a new Jeans from Sears that was on sale. Nevada brand ($19.99). Since I did not have that colour (black), I bought it. I have the habit of washing clothes immediately after buying. Washing and drying done. Ironed and found out that it has shrunk by abt an inch. I always buy 30 inseam. I never had problems with Levis, Lee, tec. This one has shrunk. There is not enough material inside to make the pant back to original length.

With warm water.
Dont iron jeans??? I am totally lost. Any reason? I always steam iron jeans since I wear to office sometimes.

check the label of your jeans..do they have a warning on the label about possible shrinkage? when i wash my jeans they tend to feel stiff/tight until worn a few hours and then they relax.

isnt it great when you can wear jeans to the office?:) i love wearing my jeans to work..except when meeting clients of course.

Finally - i was just teasing - actualysome people call ironing jeans a fashion faux pas .. nerdy.. but i think that is for people who iron their jeans into creases .. iron them if they look wrinkly.thats what i do..

Thx m_r. Much appreciated. I iron becuase of the wrinkles as the jeans is always under the pile of washed clothes, most of the time.
I just read the instructions. Suggets washing in cold water and tumble dry medium. Do u know what is tumble dry medium? I just threw in the dryer that has warm/hot air.

yeah..i figured you would need to wash them in cold not warm water. Its actually possible and agood idea to wash most of your clothes in cold water..it doesnt harm them and supposedly saves money too.

tumble dry medium is the same as drying on 'low or warm'. You can dry without heat but it will take you longer..
