On your original post you stated you would be paying the $1500.

I mean just apply as a regular professional applicant.

I dont know if this is common but it sounds wierd that a recruiter will disclose to a potential client (you) about their account matters with an employer.

Also most recruiting companies get paid BY the employer..and not the other way around.

My advice would still be to go elsewhere.

There is nothing impolite about asking him for the details. Be a Canadian, look him in the eyes and demand each detail. I bet you, in a minute you will find out, you are dealing with a top notch scam artist...

Why would a leading hotel chain look for applicants in India, use a consultant for that purpose, issue the work permit without interviewing, ask for security deposit of $1500 (only!!!) and pay $25/hr when the average wage is around $10 and there are scores of local people who they can see first hand?

Use your head and lodge a police case against this "consultant"

The trap is foolish from the onset and the people falling for such traps are bigger fools to believe everthing they want to see as true.

Tamanna u need to get ur head examined to protect against falling for some other more elaborate traps...

Average wage in a five star hotel in Canada is $10 !!!!!
