Last night I saw Mere Apne on DVD, with VK, Shotgun Sinha and Meena Kumari. Still the Koi Hota Jisko.. song sounds great. Kishoreda sings from the heart. I have seen most of VK films, except Achanak. I hear that its a good one with no songs and first VK movie as a hero (based on a true story).

On a sidenote, the movie Ghulami, where Dharam made a comeback, was first offered to VK by JP Dutta. VK went to Rajneesh ashram. Dharam came back with a bang with that movie. No comparisons between the two, wish VK had done that.

Achanak- excellent movie- was termed as offbeat precisely cos it had no songs and was not a typical Hindi flick. Saw it at Regal in Bombay(now Mumbai)

Vinod Khanna was my fave after Big B them days. Met him several times at Rajneesh (later to be known as Osho) Ashram in Koregaon Park, Pune.


Not a bad guy at all. Pretty freaked out in the head. I guess you hadda be to hang out with Rajneesh.

Have you ever heard Rajneesh's discourse on the word "F#%k'? One of his more popular ones. Wonder if it's on the net somewhere.
