This is the type of b****it that these Australians are trying to talk about. Thing is Sreesanth has got them rattled. Like the previous reporter has mentioned "that Symonds would have smacked his bat into his face if he was not a peace loviing person" It has got nothing to do with him being a peace loving person. He knew if he hit him he would be out of the game & series. Just like Zidane in the world cup.
Australians are used to targetting the "top "players from opposite team .... here you have a player from the opposition who is new , his place is not even sure in the next match & he is taking on the Australian team.
They have never faced such a situation and dont know how to react. It will be interesting how they will behave if they are to loose the next match.

Bunch of crock from another Aussie! First of all, the notion that that Aussies engage in casual banter to tick their opponents off is utter nonsense. Did you ever see McGrath lose his temper at someone who'd hit a six off his ball? Casual banter all right! Same goes for their other players. They're all hypocrites who can dish it out but become cry-babies when they get a load of it themselves.
And Symonds a peace loving man? Prior to the series, the Aussie media was heavily engaged in imposing his image as a monster, prolly to scare off Indian players. The same news sites that are calling him a gentle giant published stuff about his wild side and that he likes to kill wild boars with nothing more than a pen-knife. Some gentle giant indeed!
I really hope India wins this next match. That would be the cake, the icing would be they bring Sreesanth back, Sreesanth dishes it out (albeit a bit more tactically), other players join in and get support from the spectators and the board. The Aussies deserve nothing better.

On the other hand, let him sit outside and do this consistently /Tactfully and if India wins, Sreesanth awarded the "man of the match"..
I think Australia will return midway through the series...

hahahahahahahaha!!!! Ponting has become the cry baby now..........I think leaving Sreesanth out is a tactical move on the part of the team so that he can dish it out to these guys without fear and pressure. If Australia lose today then the Australian media is going to berserk with all kinds of stupid allegations and theories....they are poor sledgers and poorer losers.....
But out of all it gladdens the heart that India (Dhoni) is thinking tactically...holding on to wickets...finishing well....bringing on Kartik and leavin Sree out so he can concentrate on sledging....best person for each job is in place..

Here's an idea for Indian reporters.
1) Buy a portable DVD player.
2) Go back to Aussie matches where they have sledged ruthlessly (a good one would be one where McGrath called Brian Lara a black monkey or something) and afterwards claimed at news conferences that the "agression was good for cricket and that it was just a bit of fun".
3) Extract clips and sequence them
4) Let Ponting and Symonds whine their hearts out at the next press conf. and then play it all back for them.
