I'm about to apply for an Indian visafor the first time. CGI Toronto website states a prepaid return envelope needs to be enclosed with the application to return the Canadian passport (I'm assuming they will also return the cancelled Indian passport).
My question is what sort of prepaid return envelope can we enclose - does it have to be Canada Post standard mail or is Express post allowed? Are prepaid courier envelopes (e.g. Fedex or Purolator) allowed? If so, does CGI Toronto then call the courier firms for a pickup? If it is only ordinary post, then there is a risk of mail getting lost. If anyone can share their experience(s) that will be greatly appreciated. What's the best approach - any suggestions? Thanks

Single entry. The multiple entry visa is called 'Long Term Visa'

It is better to ask these questions to Indian High Commission in Toronto (Tel.No. 416 062 3787) and get correct answer

Mr. India, you should use something with tracking number like Canada post registered post or Xpresspost.
It is not worth the risk of sending/receiving passports by ordinary post.
