You sure have something against people having different "blood"..... So she is not of "pure "Indian blood. Ok ..... Can we call her half Indian .... can you give her that much........ or you still have a fixation on Slovanian blood part ....

Well Jake that is the real topic ... how can an girl born of Indian father and a Slovenian mother (i like the blood part) , married to an america "white" (as if she had a hope in hell if he was a black, brown or yellow) .... call herself an Indian ..... and to top that how can the gujjus fall so low to welcome as one of their own ......that my friend is the point of discussion as far as this OP is concerned.

Yep he is still Indian passport holder ... another person who never gave up his Indian passport was Zubin Mehta ...... am sure there must be more.
Think you might back me on this....... as per "Return of Aryans".... some of the Aryans moved from India and settled in Eastern Europe ....... think that would include Slovenian ..... so "maybe"after all she is of pure "aryan "blood.... whew ... she might have come full circle .... back to her roots .......

Apologies to Raj Kapoor and whoever else was involved:

Meri ma hai Sloviani
Pati hai Amrikani
Laptop hai Japani (had to use something from the old song)
Lakin phir bhi dil hai Hindustani.

BTW -Mother Teresa is Indian or Macedonian?
Tata is Indian or Irani?

Are all the Bawas in India- Indian or Irani?
All the Sindhis in India- Indian or Pakistani or whatever?
And those in Ulhasnagar- from USA?

My bad, he still retains an Indian passport.

The point however is exactly the same. He's a British resident who operates out of Europe, it would only be a formality if he changes his passport. So should we respect him? And what about his kids? I'm not sure about their citizenship (I doubt they have Indian passports but not sure). But if his son or daughter go on an achieve great heights in life, should we not feel proud about that? And should we not use them as role models for young Indians?

In this day and age with borders getting fainter and fainter, its amazing that people want to erect more fences.

The question that has gone unanswered despite several people raising it is who in the OPs mind should Indians honor with respect to NRIs.

As far as OP is concerned "you are either with us (read live in India) or you are against us (living outside India)" ...... he is very clear about it ....

Also "blood"is very important , i guess you live in India and you have Slovenian "blood" .... you are not qualified to be called an Indian.

So extending this- Mother Teresa is not Indian?

Now here is a deadly one- President Musharraf - born in India- Delhi one reads- Is he Indian or Pakistani? Should he be hailed as a hero for being the head of Pakistan when he visits his hometown?

Enjoy!
