On a side-note : Though PMP is def. the industry standard, I have recently seen PM opportunites where they mention PMP or equivalent courses (such as the ones offered by well known company's to their eligible staff who wish to go the management way.)

I think, if an opportunity exists then getting on one of these as a preparatory step would also be a good idea, would'nt it?

Any one of you already started studying for PMP Exam.,? If so, pls., let me know. If possible, let us have a conf., call every week or as per the convenience of our group members, and study for it. I bet, that would be a good approach and easy way of learning, but ofcourse participants should be serious in attending the exam., and engaged in continuous study!
