Hi,
I have bought a house ( 2rys old - We have warranty for another 3 yrs) in April -07. We did our house inspection immediately and the inspector gave us a list to be fixed in the house. The seller agreed to do the fixes and signed the document.
We have our Notary date on 23rd of this month, Yesterday the agent called and informed me that seller has not done any of the fixes. As per him, these fixes should be covered in warranty. I guess he approached the builder, but the builder refused to carry out the fixes, so the seller has filed an complaint.
Now they want to postpone the notary by 10 days (some time in sept. 1st week). The problem is that I have my current residence only till end of this month.
I just wanted to check, what options do i have.
Thanks in advance for your time
Regards
Crisraj
You have not mentioned your location. By the way you have described your problem, are you in Quebec?
