I read the article. Obviously written by some biased reporter with some agenda. But in the end it comes down to this - SO FREAKIN' WHAT? He pulled three or four examples from the "WORLD's LARGEST MUSLIM POPULATION". that is of no significance.
As for Pakistan bashing, Mynameisraj was referring to this comment :

A few posts ago, I was discussing the need to have a vision that amalmagated India back to its pre-1947 borders. Remember the slogan Chine Chine Bhai Bhai - now that was ridiculous. India has very little in common with China. And now think about Pakistan. I would venture a guess that a majority of Pakistanis would say that they have a relative living in India. And so why would you slander Pakistan? Indians and Pakistanis are truely brothers. We have more in common culturally then we have differences religiously.
I can see that, this vision is not going to come true as long as mentalities like those demonstrated above do not change.

Mynameisraj and BV , sorry because really I didnt read the statement by seenappa. There was no need to involve Pakistan in this discussion.
But my feeling is that I have noticed that these western media is often biased towards the Indian sentiments. At least we should display our feelings to them. Contrary to the quote by mynameisraj " here nobody is telling newspaper to type all rosy things about India" but atleast we can tell them not to type biased articles without doing a research on ground reality.
and as BV I appreciate your feelings of breaking lines across the country, but it is an ideal thought and beyond reality. My point is if they live peacefully seperately than it would be the best and always have an understanding against the western ideology of divide and rule.

Your saying that the majority of Pakistanis have relatives in India ...... is what you say ... your guess..... it is not a fact.
Secondly India is not a country with world's largest muslim population.
Now as far as your saying that India & Pakistan should come together and that some people's mentalities are to blame for this not happining.
Let me explain something US & Canada have lot in common as India & Pak ... but you dont see them coming together .... though they share a relationship that we can also share .... "free trade & irrelevant borders".
That is as far as i can see our relationshiip going with Pakistan .... now our coming togther has a fundamental problem or i should say difference .... India is a secular country & Pakistan is an Islamic Nation....... As i would not like India to change its character .... i should not expect Pakistan to do that same.
What do you have to say about this?
