with my experience, there is nothing like sale...the merchandise on sale is mostly either almost not in demand. i don't bother much of sale "boards"..

This year I avoided to go for anything on boxing-day (or boxing week).

Last year I went to future shop and yes I got some real good deal, but on other side I bought many unnecessary things, so my end-result was same.

These sales can benefit you, if you are looking for a specific thing and are only going to buy that one. For example the Citizen 27" TV was only 230 dollars which is very good price.

In near future I will be going for large screen HDTV. If anyone have any idea where to look for, please advise.

BOXING DAY IS DA BEST.
Even though we gotta wait a whole year now for it to come again :( but anything shoppingy will always get my 2cents.
If you are in toronto DUFFERIN MALL has THE most amazing boxing day sales.
Mississauga - go to DIXIE VALUE MALL
and if you really wanna know what boxing day is about.... cross the border and spend a couple days in the USA. I've heard that that's where the REAL boxing day sales happen.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Better luck next year.
P.S. No you don't only get the crappy stuff on sale. You just gotta know HOW to look and WHERE to look.
P.P.S. there is nothing wrong with buying an AWESOME winter coat in the summer (because winter ALWAYS comes here).
