Actually currently i m looking for a job and got register with couple of agencies and applied for some government vacanies also , so last week i got a call for giving test on july 12th, so i need some suggestion as how these tests r conducted as i have been said that i have to gave MS office, spelling, grammer, typing test , can please someone help me out as what materials i should study and prepare myself for these test and how these test r conducted and is it really tough.

For the Province of Ontario;
* Full-time classified are advertised directly, and they DO NOT go thru any agency.
* Unclassified positions are mostly filled thru refferals, but no thru agencies
* Contract positions - yes they do go thru agencies
Hopefully you're not getting scammed. In terms of the tests, it would difffer from agency to agency, but I'd imagine they are the standard type, where they test your skills. As you say the test is going to be in MS Office, spelling, grammer etc. - just prepare accordingly.

i think u didnt get me i registered with agencies for data entry jobs but i also applied for government jobs by going on there websites, as i went on region of peel website/careers and saw job posting for administrative assistant and applied for that and it is temporary position, so right now they r calling me for giving test

I went thru entire process of third fourth test and interview and met with silence at the end.
A sregards tests, there is nothing much to tell... it is like the bank tests in India for spelling etc
then u have MS office test.. an excercise is given to produce a sheet as per instructions.
you need to find errors in an invoice.
